activities
An activity is the fundamental level of work created on a given project. Typically Activities are associated with the completion of a given work deliverable. Activities, therefore, could contain the work of multiple crews of different specialties. For example, an activity called drywall might be comprised of a drywall crew and separate taping-and-finishing crew.
If work being considered for a given activity pertains to multiple work areas, phases, or work breakdown item, then separate activities should be created for each work area, phase, and/or work breakdown item.
